This lovely walk starts at the Robertville dam, which is a stone’s throw away from the B&B Maison Ruthier, and is short but tough. You ‘ll dive into the splendid nature of the Warche Valley that is dominated by the Reinhardstein Castle!
It concerns walk WM07 ‘ Panorama de la Warche’, one of the numerous walks in the municipality of Waimes. As the French name suggests, you’ll be treated to beautiful panoramas and a magnificent view of the Reinhardstein Castle, but you’ll also discover the valley of the Warche. In other words, there is a lot of climbing to be done.
The signposted route is 5 km long. The highest waterfall in Belgium is close to the route, but for that you’ll have to make a small detour, so the hike, as we propose, is 6 km long.
Sturdy hiking boots are a must. For a drink you can go to the chalet on the parking lot. There are also toilets here.
